The firm, along with its client, Knox County was honored with a Special Achievement Award in the Survey & Mapping Category for its use of 3D modeling and automated machine guidance for the reconstruction of County Highway 4 in Knox County. The County ultimately received an $880,000 federal grant for the use of the technology on this project. Hermann & Associates was selected along with Apace Architects to provide services associated with building and site improvements for the Aviation Maintenance Hangar at the Peoria Army Aviation Support Facility in Peoria County.
