Hero For Life
Training Courses in Anchorage, AK
Dave Schlesinger, a resident of Anchorage, is the founder of Hero for Life. Dave is an honorably discharged U. S. Marine and holds an M. B. A. Dave's father was diagnosed at the age of 38 with serious coronary heart disease. The doctor's were amazed that he was even still alive; he had 98% blockage in all three main arteries. He lived another 26 years of vigorous life before dying of a sudden heart attack in 2000. This led Dave to become aware of and concerned with the overwhelming number of people who are not familiar with the basic life saving skills of CPR and First Aid.
