While the whole Cardinal Newman team ministers to students throughout the year in many ways, it is the task of the Campus Ministry Department to evolve and coordinate certain specific student programs in which students and team take leading roles. These programs involve a range of experiences through which our students come to the awareness that God is active in their daily lives. Through liturgies, retreats, pastoral counseling and peer ministry, students grow in this faith both as individuals and as a community.

read moreBand Director Jordan Finley has been chosen to be the clinician for the South Carolina Band Directors Association Middle School Alternate Band (SCBDA) for the 2021 Region 3 Clinic, which is scheduled for April 30 and May 1, 2021. The role of the clinician is to provide an enriching musical experience for those students who auditioned to be in the group. Ms. Finley is an exceptional educator, and we are extremely fortunate that she is on our faculty, said Director of Music David Cochrane. Our band program has grown tremendously over the three years Ms. Finley has been here.
