read moreEvangel is happy to announce that Stacie Floyd Rathbun will succeed Bud Dean as principal of the high school and middle school. Stacie has served as Assistant Principal, English Department Head, and English teacher at various time during her 20 + years as part of the ECA faculty. She holds a masters degree in educational leadership and is excited about the future. Evangel has such a rich heritage of providing an excellent education for all students. I am looking forward to building on this foundation and making sure that Evangel's best years are ahead.

The ACT test has proven research that shows that a student's ACT score directly correlates to his or her academic success; therefore, Evangel has adopted the ACT as our testing focus. This means that our students ACT test three times a year so they are familiar with the format of the test. Teachers focus on ACT standards and offer basic ACT test prep. Our students learn the skills that colleges and workplaces are looking for in a successful student or employee.
