HODGE-PODGE BOOKS closed the doors of its shop on June 30, 2009. The shop had been in operation from October 28, 1982. The closing of the physical space left me facing two options: retire, or find a new venue to continue working with books and young readers. So, I have been advised to try my hand at an online store. I plan to blog about the newest books I am currently reading and hope to begin a dialogue about my comments and reactions. To give my readers a special treat I hope to have AFTER SCHOOL SPECIALS several times during the school year.
