Home Insulation, established in 1948, was one of the 1st Insulation contracting firms began in the state of Oregon. Family owned & operated, the business started as Home Insulation Co. Johnson Fuel in 1948. When the coal business diminished and Johnson closed, Phil Heidt, one of the original partners, became the sole owner of Home Insulation Co. And continued the insulation operation. Being locally owned as it's advantages. Two of Phil's sons, Jerry and Dan, now run the Eugene operation.
