The business has existed in Goleta for over 47 years. It was began in 1963 by Dougal House as a sole Honda dealership. Dougal added Yamaha and Suzuki in 1995 and the name became known as Honda, Suzuki and Yamaha in Goleta. Subsequent owners added the KTM and KYMCO lines and changed the name to Santa Barbara Motorsports. Today SBM is family owned & operated with roots in operating a successful off-road performance business named Powersport Performance.
