These missions trips are transformational, both for the people served by our students and for our students. For many of our students, these trips are foundational in their training to become change agents in their community.

We teach all subjects as part of an integrated whole, with the Scriptures at the center. Students are equipped to know and love the truth and to utilize that knowledge to glorify God in all things. We believe that respect and honor of God are foundational for all learning at Hope Academy. That's why we never grow tired of declairing, "The hope of Hope Academy is God." There is no place for shoddy Christian education.

read moreHope Academy is committed to shepherding the hearts of students by providing a high quality Christ-centered, classical education. We use a rigorous Classical curriculum throughout our K-12 program. Hope Academy is definitely not a charter school - we are a private, Christian school funded by individuals, corporations, churches. Charter schools are merely another variety of public school. They receive all their funding from the government and are subject to most of the same rules and restrictions of government schools.

read moreIt began as a question four years ago: "How could we provide a remarkable, God-centered education to even more urban youth?" Our enrollment had topped 400, but we were running out of space. Many questions remained. Would financial Partners who already give so much give even more to make room for more students? Could we navigate the nuances of our old building, and build a new gym, even though we were land-locked? Through the joy-filled, above & beyond support of so many, God has provided 16 new classrooms, added student support spaces, an expanded cafeteria, and a new gymnasium.
