Horseshoe Pub

Before there was the 'Shoe, there was nothing. Well, okay, that is not entirely true. Actually, our building has gotten around a little bit. Intrigued? Read on: The Horseshoe Pub building was built by F. D. Brigham in 1832, and occupied the lot next to Town Hall, on Main Street in the charming little burg we call Hudson, MA. The building was moved before 1880 to its present location on South Street, to make way for the construction of Jeff's Block. It became part of the property of H. H. Mawhinney and Company, later Logan Shoe Company, and was the home of one of the foremen and his family.
