
Over 10, 000 Kansans are served annually. Highlights include surpassing $4. 3 million paid to creditors in 2006 alone, publication of Kansas Tenants Handbook and Kansas Landlords Handbook, and achieving national accreditation in 1998. New initiatives include founding a prototype Rural First-time Homebuyer Counseling and Training Program, a pilot program called Strategies for Success for Rescue Mission guests, and the Homeless to Housed Program in Lawrence.
