ICI Manufacturing started work implementing ISO 9001 few years ago, but decided not pursue certification. Late last year, however, the executive management staff, with input from key clients, decided to move forward and achieve full certification as an ISO 9001 organization. ICI is making superb progress toward this goal, and is on track for a final internal audit in December. The mission is to be certified by an ISO registrar by March 2011.
