With just 2 weeks to go before the Am World Championships, David Wiggins Jr. Showed that he's the one to beat this year. His trip to Michigan for the US Am Disc Golf Championship netted him a new major title, this time, US Amateur Champion. He cruised to a 10 throw victory over the field, in what was the most dominant am play yet at the challenging Toboggan Course. His 20 under par finish makes him the one to beat in the Amateur World Championships at the end of the month in Ohio, as well as the Charlotte Amateur Championships this coming weekend. He's gained a spot to play in the USDGC this year.
