I use and recommend their 1 part laser voucher check. Most of these instructions apply to adding other kinds of accounts in QuickBooks, but we will be looking specifically at bank accounts in this example. You should have bank account in QuickBooks for each bank account your business has (this includes PayPal).
About Us
read moreMy name is Jonathan Blough. I originally founded Integrated Insights, PC in 2004 as a full service accounting firm. So I decided to let other firms do the boring stuff while I focused on QuickBooks consulting, controller services and bookkeeping. I have to confess that I've been kind of a nerd my whole life, and usually ended up being the unofficial "computer guy" anywhere I worked, so I look for ways to leverage technology to help my clients save time and money with their accounting. Please contact me if you have any questions or would like to explore the possibility of working together.

It allows you to write checks, record and classify bill payments in QuickBooks, generate a voucher confirming the payment and even address envelopes in a single step that usually takes less time than writing a check by hand. You're looking at a minimum of four steps. More if you didn't enter the check in QuickBooks in step 2, because you (or someone else) will eventually need to go back and do that. I haven't met anyone who looks forward to setting aside a block of time to record a stack of check stubs in their accounting software.
