Irving Symphonic Band

In 1988 the idea of a community band was born through the vision of the Irving Parks and Recreation Department. The band continued to expand and under the direction of Robert J. Brule registered as a 501(c)3 organization in 1990. Over the years, distinguished guests such as David Holsinger, Francis McBeth, Dr. Alfred Green, and Captain Lewis J. Buckley have shared their talents with the band and the community of Irving. Currently in its 21st season, Jay L. Bach now leads the band and continues to inspire ISB members and community patrons with music for all seasons!
