Established in 1948 by the Oremus family, Prairie Material has grown along with the communities we've helped build. From our very 1st yards in Bridgeview, Illinois, we've expanded steadily to become the region's foremost supplier of ready mix, specialty concrete and aggregate. Prairie materials form the heart of major structures throughout the Midwest, including Trump Tower Chicago, the Milwaukee Art Museum Addition and Millennium Park. Though the business of construction has changed dramatically, our promise to clients remains constant.
