While attending the University of Idaho, Jake Jones got a job hashing (serving food) at the Gamma Phi Beta sorority house. He was terminated by the house mother for dropping a jam knife down her dress, not on purpose. But, taking pity on him, she decided to use him in the kitchen as the cook's assistant. As it turns out, he got to work with the finest cook on campus. Upon graduation he decided to stay in the food business.
