There's nothing better than playing in a real performing band! We will hook you up with other musicians, aid you rehearse and let you show it all off at our famous Join the Band Concerts. Come be a part of it! Join the Band! Band and music lessons for children, teens and adults! Since 1998 our Join the Band concerts have featured over 1000 band performances. Join The Band has been such a great experiance for my 13 year old son! It has allowed him the possibility to build skills that go beyond just your regular music lesson. He has been able to practice in a great rehearsal studio, meet new musicans to play with, great band instruction, and they get to perform in venues that many of us grew up going to! It teaches about staff work and that practice and hard work lead to great success of their band!

A big thank you, to all the music teachers at JTB that continue to give our students professional guidance. Check out our Drum Lesson programs. Former Join the Band drum, and guitar student Adam Levin is now playing for the XAMBASSADORS! Adam started at Join the Band when he was just 10 years old playing drums and guitar in our rock band program. These early years of learning how to play on stage helped prepare Adam for his music career.

Since that time we have taught thousands of music lessons and rock band classes. As a result, Join The Band has become a trusted music program in the community of Sherman Oaks. Join The Band students have performed at clubs throughout Los Angeles including The Knitting Factory, Whisky A Go Go, Roxy Theatre, The Mint, The Federal Bar, Cozy's, The Baked Potato, Amazon Bar and Grille, and Smoking Johnnies.

Ukulele Lessons
read moreUkulele is a very popular instrument. At our Sherman Oaks studio, we offer lessons in a clean, state of the art music studio. If you can't get to the studio we also offer online ukulele lessons. Our ukulele teachers are university trained working music professionals that love to teach. We offer private lessons in 30 minute, 45 minute or 1 hour classes at our Sherman Oaks studio in Los Angeles. Over the years we have found the combination of a weekly private ukulele lesson and weekly band rehearsals are very motivating to our students.
