Julie Anne's Bakery & Cafe

Julie Hanes started baking in her grandmother's kitchen at the age of 5. Hundreds of Christmas cookies, pies and doughnuts soon led to her love of cakes. By the age of 14, Julie took her 1st cake decorating course. After many years of Home Economics and a wealth of determination, she won a scholarship to Johnson & Wales University. Julie attended Johnson & Wales University in Charleston, SC from 1995-1997 and graduated Summa Cum Laude with a degree in Baking & Pastry Arts. After working at the Inn at Perry Cabin, Salisbury University, and other local bakeries, Julie decided to begin on her own in April 2005.
