Kansas-Oklahoma Machine Tools. KOMT) was began in 1962 by Arthur B. Berg and Max E. Hubbard, both of whom had been employed by White Star Machinery Company. The administrative offices were, and are now situated in Wichita, Kansas and Tulsa, Oklahoma. Ronald W. Evans joined the company in 1965 and M. William Farris joined in 1970. In 1982, Art Berg retired as president and in 1987 Max Hubbard stepped down as President to pursue other interests. Ron Evans is now Chairman of the Board and Bill Farris is President.
