I received my bachelor's degree in Keyboard (both Piano and Organ) Pedagogy from Capital University in Columbus, Ohio. Part of my bachelors studies included one semester studying the famous Kodaly technique for teaching early childhood music at the Kodaly Institute in Kecskemet, Hungary. I also have a master's degree in Music Therapy, which I received from Colorado State University in 1999. I then received Kindermusik training and began teaching Kindermusik classes in 2000. After taking several years off from teaching Kindermusik, I am now teaching classes at Boomer's Music and love it! Since 1997 I have maintained a private studio of 20 to 25 beginning, intermediate and advanced piano students, and occasional clarinet students. I also teach pre-school music classes at the Fort Collins Preschool, where my children attended. I find great joy and satisfaction in bringing music into children's lives.

For over 30 years, Kindermusik International has been the world's leading provider of music and movement classes and curricula for children from birth to age seven, with more than 1.5 million families worldwide served. My studio is located on the 2nd floor of Boomers Music, which is at 3761 South Mason Stret in Fort Collins. Go in on the side entrance and take either the elevator or stairs up. My studio is behind the Fort Collins Coffee Shop.
