Kirk Violins is a tiny family owned business in Montana devoted primarily to the arts of making and repairing stringed instruments. Owner and Luthier John Kirk began his 1st shop in 1984 near the Beartooth Mountains of Southern Montana after completing his study with David Reeve (Reeve Violins) in Longmont Colorado. John has spent much time developing and enhancing techniques that contribute to the tonal superiority of an instrument.
