About Us
read moreIn 1919, Klein-Dickert operated out of an office on University Avenue in Madison, Wisconsin. The paint contracting and glass company performed work on both residential and commercial projects. In 1935, F.X. Dickert's son, P.J., joined the firm as a painter. He left for the Philippines to serve our country in WWII, and then returned to KD after the war. Henry Klein's son Joseph, (Joe), joined the firm in 1946 after obtaining a degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Madison and a masters degree from the Chrysler Institute of Engineering.
