The history of Korean martial arts is as old as the land itself and can be traced as far back as the prehistoric era, where primitive weapons made of wood and stone were used for hunting and fighting. As early as 2707 BC, the Korean warlord Chi-Woo, known as Jaoji, reigned as the god of war in what is now Mainland China. Since then, the most of Koreans migrated and settled in the region of the Korean Peninsula, where there have been more than a thousand recorded instances of foreign invasions.

We are a traditional school, focused primarily on the teaching of martial arts, not strange gimmicks.

read moreStudents always say that our school feels more like a family than a gym. We are a group of students and instructors who all love to see each other grow and reach new goals. That's why we like to refer to our school as a "Family Martial Art Center". These classes are for beginners only. You will work on the fundamentals of our martial art and begin learning the challenging curriculum of Kuk Sool Won. This class meets once per week and is a great place for your 4 & 5 year olds to get started. This program is designed for building the strength and endurance of the young students while teaching them the beginning levels of the curriculum.

We don't just hire any black belt off the street. Our instructors are home-grown and they have gone through the same training that each student goes through. There is no room for hypocritical instructors in our program. Only those that lead by example. Our school has a strict Instructor Training Program that has been implemented for several years.
