read moreOnce an opening becomes available, a two-week deposit is required to reserve a child's place in the class. That deposit is held until the child leaves the school at which time the deposit is used to offset the amount of the final monthly tuition invoice. Tuition is due the first of each month; for those wishing to make two payments per month instead of one lump sum, half the invoice may be paid by the first of each month and the second half by the 15th of each month. We at LHMS feel strongly about reducing the amount of waste we produce.

Montessori teachers are trained to assist the children, both individually and through small groups, in the use of the equipment located throughout the classroom. By following the child's lead we observe where your child's interests and needs are and guide and nurture them in their development. We are careful not to interrupt the children during work, or to force a lesson beyond the children's interest.
