In 1981, the top speed of a black-and-white copy machine was 60 pages per minute, and delivering state-of-the-art commercial printing in Massachusetts meant having a two-color press. Bill Gates would release MS-DOS that year, and Steve Jobs was still three years away from changing graphic design with the debut of the Macintosh. Yes, it was a different world back then.
