Bob Byman was born April, 21, 1955 in Poughkeepsie, New York. As a boy in a sports minded family, I played grade, junior or high school baseball, basketball, football, track and field, wrestling and golf. I played hockey, pool, ping pong and bowling for fun. Growing up in New York and Colorado allowed for seasonal sports participation. Even though sports were greatly important to me and my family, I was expected to excel at school as well. I finished in the top 5 in my class at Fairview High School in Boulder, Colorado with a 3. 92 grade point average.
