Laurelwood Golf Course, which opened in 1929 as an 18 hole Country Club, was the 1st golf course built in Eugene. We just celebrated our 80th year! The course is currently owned by the City of Eugene and is open to the public. The course is 9 holes and retains the wooded, hilly charm of the original course. Laurelwood is a pretty oasis of trees and striped fairways just a several blocks from downtown Eugene and the Univ. Of Oregon.

read moreOriginally designed by Clarence Sutton and updated by Dan Hixon in 2019, Laurelwood Golf Course measures over 3,000 yards from the longest tees and has a slope rating of 131 and a 35.1 USGA rating. Our course features four sets of tees for different skill levels. The greens are bent grass and the fairways are poa annua grass. Located just a few blocks from Hayward Field and the University of Oregon campus, Laurelwood Golf Course is ideal for UO students, faculty and staff. Laurelwood also features a covered driving range where you can work on your game all year long.
