Following her residency at Brown University's Alpert Medical School, Dr. Armstrong practiced for three years in the West Roxbury Medical Group clinic, associated with Faulkner Hospital in West Roxbury, Massachusetts. Following that, she worked at the Fayette County Health Department for four years. She then began a practice group, the Bluegrass Medical Group, with three other women. In 2006, following her acupuncture certification at UCLA's Helms Institute, Dr. Armstrong opened her own office and started to practice acupuncture full-time.

We offer traditional acupuncture, e-stimulation, Chinese scalp acupuncture, and Chinese herbal supplements prescribed and administered by a board-certified physician. Elizabeth Armstrong brings a unique perspective to her practice of acupuncture. After finishing medical school at Emory University and completing an Internal Medicine residency at Brown University, she practiced medicine for seventeen years in the Boston area and Lexington.
