Running 26. 2 miles is an outstanding accomplishment on its own; pulling out 3rd place in the 30 to 34 age group is quite another. But for Silvana French from Savannah, GA, these great feats were not enough for one day. After running in the Five Points of Life Marathon, she climbed aboard a LifeSouth bloodmobile and donated blood. Of the 1000's of steps she took that Sunday, stepping onto the bloodmobile may have been her most important for a patient in need. It's what the Five Points of Life Race Weekend is all about; spreading the message of sharing life through donation.
