With the passion for music & business, Chris & Mark Craven decided to open up The Listening Room Cafe in Nashville and started the journey. They wanted a place where writers aand guests alike could feel at home, a place with incredible sound quality and a menu with nice home cookin' like Momma used to make it! They opened the doors on September 11, 2008 and since then have had several of the largest hit songwriters and artists in Nashville perform.

As he played around town, he realized hecouldn't find alocal venuethat he felt had the sound and atmosphere that Nashville artists deserved. He opened the new location inside the historic Cummins Station building in September of 2008. It was there that theListeningRoom really built its name and started attracting the biggest songwriters and artists in theindustry.
