read moreI started watching friends' children and the children in the surrounding neighborhood. I thought this would benefit my kids to have the interaction with other children. I didn't have any experience in this business so I developed my daily plan based on what I felt would be most beneficial for the kids. I purchased learning videos and educational material that we worked on together each day. A couple of years laterwe decided that it was time to move. The parents of the children that I took care of weren't very happy that we were leaving, but that made me feel good because it let me know that they really appreciated the care that I provided for their children.
