In 1988, Jamey Loftin and Hughes Lowrance decided to open a small general store and deli in Athens, Georgia and they called it Locos Deli and General Store. They sold sandwiches, milk, toilet paper and other basic requirements of college students and delivered them to the residents and students around the University of Georgia. Nearly twenty years later Locos is a thriving concept with a new name, Locos Grill & Pub, and has expanded to more than 20 locations throughout the Southeast.
