Lucia Lighting and Design is the brainchild of lighting specialist Lucy Dearborn and real estate developer David J. Solimine, Jr. On May 17, 2005, David signed an agreement to purchase the former Pinkham estate mansion at 311 Western Avenue, Lynn as a real estate investment. He immediately approached his long-time lighting consultant, Lucy Dearborn, about the idea of bringing a top-notch lighting showroom to Lynn. In short order, Lucy and David drafted a business plan and established a partnership.
