AmeriGlas Stained Glass was began in 1989 by four stained glass crafters in Omaha, Nebraska. Although Omaha is a medium-sized midwestern town which serves an area of 1, 000, 000 people, we found that there were very few stained glass stores. , the few stores which did exist, were custom stained glass shops which sold tools and provides only as a side venture. There were only a few real stores in town and they had an extremely limited range and high prices. After talking with friends throughout the country, we found that the situation was similar in many areas.
