Magnolia Lodging

Magnolia Lodging was born from a rich family history in the hospitality industry. Patriarchs Gresham and Sue Shinn built and operated hotels in Arkansas beginning in the 1940's and soon expanded into Texas, Mississippi and Louisiana. Since 1982, G. J. Shinn has continued their legacy by owning, developing and managing award-winning hotels under the Hilton and Marriott brands. In 1998, he formed Magnolia Lodging with partners Wayne Newton and Matthew Newton to manage his hotels at a top level of performance.
