Before becoming a contractor, husband & father, I was a corporate project director. I learned a lot about details, managing complex and expensive projects, and making things happen on-time and on-budget. In all of my roles, these skills continue to serve me well! I 1st became a weekend re-modeler while I was an owner of a tiny rental property. As my remodeling experience grew and grew, so did my projects. I started to contact several contractors for assistance. I was shocked at my discoveries! Most contractors didn't even return my calls. I couldn't believe it! Those that did offered seemingly arbitrary pricing, rattling off some cost-per-square-foot figure. I wondered, how could they know the cost when they hadn't even seen my space? Frustrated and disillusioned, I decided that I could do better.
