The Friends of the Roseville Public Library is a non-profit organization whose goal is to support services and programs at the library. Anyone may join the Friends by filling out and sending in an application with annual dues. Dues pay for such services as the kids's summer reading program and special equipment. Applications are available at both library locations. We believe libraries are important. We encourage interest in books, reading, and public libraries. We support the Roseville Public Library by working to supply more books, media, and services.

The Friends of the Roseville Public Library were formed in 1973 by a group of citizens concerned with the materials and services provided by the Roseville Public Library. With the support of Helen O'Connor, who served as Roseville Public Library Director from 1971-1981, this group of citizen volunteers dedicated themselves to the formation of a nonprofit with a mission to support and promote the Roseville Public Library and filed their Articles of Incorporation on September 12, 1973.
