The founder, Dr. Katherine Mansfield, was a practiciing chiropodist who on a pleasure trip to Paris, France, had been exposed to innovations in hairdressing. Upon her return, she began giving demonstrations and lectures. Thus, the humble beginnings of Mansfield Beauty Schools.
