Marrying Guy

Those were the words that were painted on a sign that once hung outside my Grandfather's one room court-house in Sutherland Springs, Texas for well over half a century. Of course, it once read Two CAN live as cheap as one back in the 1930's and 40's, but grandpa had to change it in the 1960's as the world changed. Now I don't know which phrase would apply. You be the judge. Anyway, during my vacations, when I stayed on my grandparent's farm, many a time I was dragged out of bed to witness a couple getting married at 3 o'clock in the morning.
