Dan spearheads McKinley Research's ongoing market research contract for the Alaska Seafood Marketing Institute (ASMI). A lifelong Alaskan, Dan's professional experience includes researching public policy as a legislative analyst for the Alaska Legislature; operating his family's award-winning business, the Gustavus Inn; commercial fishing and seafood processing; serving on the Gustavus City Council; and developing and implementing the renewable energy program at a regional non-profit organization.
