In September 2000, the 1st Mellow Me Out was opened on Fulton Avenue. We had 1, 000 sqft and every inch of space was utilized. I have to laugh when I think about the break room in our 1st spa more like a broom closet with a piece of material as the door. Every day after closing the spa, I would load up my old Cadillac with piles of laundry that I would take to the laundry mat at 6am the next morning to be ready for another day of customers. We had a team of 8 therapists and everyone pitched in to get the job done.
