Having been friendly competitors for over 2 decades, Larry Chiles, owner of Jordan-Chiles. Acquired Meridian Communications, owned by Mary Ellen Slone on October 3, 2008. The area's biggest advertising/marketing agency became MERIDIAN-CHILES at the time of acquisition. Jordan-Chiles advertising was co-established in 1988 by Larry Chiles. The forerunner to Meridian Communications was established in 1975 by Mary Ellen Slone. MERIDIAN-CHILES is situated in the offices of the former Jordan-Chiles, in Fortune Business Centre, off Fortune Drive, in Lexington.
