Originally the Meridian was a pretty hotel and meeting center, with architecture dated the Spanish Mediterranean style with hints of modernistic elements. The history of the facility dates back to 1974, then called Royal Villa, Heritage House and other names. A key venue and hotel at the time, it was and still is central to Greensboro, the interstate and commerce, both commercial and retail. At the end of 2007 Rajas Investments assumed management of the property immediately delivering a new, affordable venue to Greensboro.

You are able to bring in any vendor that you would like, including the caterer of your choice, with no restrictions, provided the vendor is willing to go through a simple registration process. We do have a list of recommended vendors that you are welcome to choose from but we do not require you to use anyone on that list. If you are planning on having alcohol and if you have more than 50 guests, then you are required to use our preferred bartender.
