Metro Truck Rental is a family business began in a tiny gas station in Bessemer, Alabama in 1974 by Eddie Lumpkin. The company is still run by Eddie and his family, and even though it has expanded to be the biggest truck rental firm in Alabama, it is still run with the same family values and commitment. Today we currently have ten places in the Birmingham metro area and have expanded our fleet to over 500 trucks, vans, and cars. As a locally owned & operated firm, we believe there's nothing more important than treating people well.
