Metrofresh
Organic Food Store in Atlanta, GA
A few weeks before we opened in October 2005, my team and I sat in my living room and talked about the world we wanted to create at MetroFresh. Words like neighborhood, generous, innovative, fanciful, funny, cheerful came up over and over. Those original 9 people: Diane, Carrie, Pilar, Topher, Greg, Marcie, Soledad, Julio, Laticia and me, opened MetroFresh with a wealth of hard work and a wealth of sweat, and with the idea that we were not just another restaurant. We invited people to come on the journey with us - and they did.

Metrofresh
read moreI founded MetroFresh with the notion that fresh, healthy, and creative food should not be out of reach for the casual diner. With a daily menu of soups, salads, sandwiches, breakfast entrees, "after work" small plates (Uptown), and dinner entrees (Midtown, ) MetroFresh uses the freshest in-season ingredients, locally grown and organic when possible, to build unexpected flavor combinations you don't often find at a fast-casual cafe. Our mission has always been to create a friendly "oasis" where our guests can take a break from their hectic lives.
About Us
read moreThe first iteration of MetroFresh was super simple - some paint on the walls, some tables and chairs, a little cooking equipment and voila, it was instant restaurant! In 2012, MetroFresh In the Garden opened for a three year successful run taking fresh, healthy food to the Atlanta Botanical Garden. We served 1000s of people a day during the Holiday Lights show, the Spring flower explosion, the fall Scarecrows, and of course the concerts in the garden series. We added a wine and coffee bar which quickly became known as "Richie's Wine Bar" in honor of the owner's husband Richie Arpino, who likes wine and hosts occasional music nights.

We make it up as we go along, taking advantage the freshest, in-season produce we can get from the market. If peaches are good, we'll do a peach caprese. If field peas are in, we'll do a succotash. You get the picture. It's healthy, creative, farm-to-table food in YOUR space! We offer delivery to locations within 4 miles of our original location, 931 Monroe Dr. 12.5% service charge added.
