MetroTex Landscape Management was established in 1994 by Eric Melton in Irving, TX. Eric has worked in the field since 1988 and after graduating from UNT in 1994 changed the name to MetroTex. The business began as primarily a lawn maintenance firm with Eric as owner/operator. After a year in business another employee was added. As clients needed work beyond lawn maintenance, the MetroTex staff needed more training and licenses. In the following years Eric completed the work and passed the tests necessary to obtain licenses for commercial chemical application and irrigation.

Throughout its 26 years in business, MetroTex received requests for a variety of different jobs. Determined to learn every aspect of the industry and to completely satisfy his customers, Eric was in the position of either learning how to do the job or finding someone to complete the job. Eric has studied landscape and design and many aspects of this business in the field and in school earning certifications and accolades and is currently a proud member of Angie's List.
