The Midgleys name was 1st known to Lane County residents as their source of fine millwork from the lumber harvested locally. The location was not far from the more widely known Midgleys Mill at fourth and High. Millwork encompassed a huge array of details, from rough lumber to many of the windows and doors installed in Eugene homes from 1881 to the 1970's. Members of the original Midgleys family retained ownership throughout this time.
