Midway Used & Rare Books was set up in 1965. We're housed in a Streamline Moderne building situated at the corner of University & Snelling Avenues in St. Paul, Minnesota. We serve collectors, readers, scholars, students & educators. Our stock ranges from rare & collectible books, thousands of art books, exhibition catalogs, first editions and out of print books in many areas. We sell and buy vintage comics, pulps and magazines. read moreUniversity Rebuild is "a group of (mainly) theater folk who are gathering resources to help clean up, repair, and protect our communities in the Twin Cities." They helped us board up the store following the riots. Hamline Midway Coalition is a good source for volunteer opportunities in the neighborhood and fund raisers for damaged businesses. Uncle Hugo's and Uncle Edgar's in Minneapolis were burned to the ground and they are trying to raise money to rebuild. Their facebook has a link to their gofundme page.

read moreMidway Used And Rare Bookstore has been in business since 1965 on the northeast corner of University and Snelling "midway" between Minneapolis and St. Paul. You may visit us by car by traveling north two blocks from the Snelling Avenue exit off of highway 94. We have a free parking lot available off of Sherburne Avenue, one block north of the store. Midway Book is also easily accessible from the Snelling Avenue stop off the LRT green line. Midway features an eclectic mix of over 100,000 books, comics, magazine, and pulps of all subject matters on three floors.
