Miller, President and Senior Aquatic Ecologist of Miller Ecological Consultants, Inc., has over 40 years of experience in instream flow assessments with extensive experience in the Instream Flow Incremental Methodology (IFIM). He is a former member of the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Instream Flow Group and has conducted IFIM studies and taught courses on IFIM. Below is a sampling of some of the impactful projects we have successfully completed or that are ongoing. Developed a unique modeling approach and proof of concept habitat model using two dimensional hydraulic models, GIS data, and water quality data for eight study sites on the Susitna River in south central Alaska to quantify the potential impact of a proposed hydro-electric project on fish habitat.
