About Us
read moreNolana Animal Hospital (NAH) was opened in 1975 by Steve Bentsen. At that time Nolana Loop defined the northern edge of town and NAH was the first building on Nolana east of Tenth Street. Since then, fourteen veterinarians have practiced at NAH. Currently we have three full time doctors and two visiting specialists on staff. From the beginning, our approach to veterinary medicine has been quality rather than quantity. We have continuously upgraded the quality and variety of services that we offer.

Upon check-in, notify them that we are your regular veterinarian so that records of the emergency care will be forwarded to us. Also, please notify us as soon as possible that an emergency has occurred so that we may communicate with the veterinarians at Pet Doctor, update your pet's records and communicate with you to determine if our further involvement is needed.
Wellness Care
read moreOne of the keys to your pet's health is heading off medical issues or illnesses before they occur. The best way to do that is with proper wellness care, which alerts you and your veterinarian to any conditions that may be develop down the road, and helps you prevent them before they cause a problem. All pets should have a veterinary examination at least annually. For many pets, more frequent visits may be appropriate. Decisions regarding specific frequency of visits should be made based on individual needs of the dog.
